Travis Barker has chosen CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) as the official charity partner for Run Travis Run. Founded after the 2010 Haiti earthquake by Sean Penn and Ann Lee, CORE is a humanitarian nonprofit supporting vulnerable communities in crisis worldwide. From Haiti to Ukraine to Los Angeles, CORE responds to disasters and helps communities prepare for climate-driven emergencies like hurricanes, floods, and wildfires.
Proceeds from Run Travis Run will fuel CORE’s Emergency Response Fund, powering rapid relief and long-term recovery—including a landmark five-year initiative for families impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires.

CORE’s Work
at a Glance
In the last five years, CORE has raised over $300 million, responded to 36 emergencies worldwide, and impacted 13.5 million people globally. Headquartered in Los Angeles, CORE employs 200+ staff and runs year-round programs in climate resilience, public health, and emergency response.
In 2020, CORE expanded across California to fight COVID-19, partnering with state and local agencies to launch free testing and vaccination sites—including Dodger Stadium, one of the world’s largest centers. CORE administered 2.9 million vaccines and conducted 6.9 million tests globally, protecting millions and setting the stage for future public health responses.
In 2025, CORE mobilized across Los Angeles to respond to devastating wildfires, delivering aid to thousands from Altadena to the Pacific Palisades and prioritizing vulnerable families, workers, and those with health challenges. CORE launched a five-year, county-wide recovery effort anchored by the new Altadena Build Club, opening October 2025. The program provides free and low-cost services—from permitting and construction to insurance support and resilience planning—helping survivors rebuild with long-term stability.
